Awesome Firefox Extensions

• Install Extension Aaapptabs
  Shrink the chrome for app tabs.
• Install Extension Bookmark Favicon Changer
  Choose any icon for your bookmarks. I find it's great for bookmarklets.
• Install Extension Context Search X
  Enhance searching for selected text via the context menu.
• Install Extension Cookie Controller
  Like it says, make control over cookies much more convenient. I use it mostly to leave "keep until: I close firefox" set on cookies, but easily add important sites to the keep forever exception.
• Install Extension DOM Inspector
  Not included with Firefox anymore, so linked here. Firebug takes the cake for most things, but this works on chrome and a few other niche areas.
• Install Extension Download Statusbar
  A truly great extension. This replaces (once you set your options properly) the standard Firefox download window, which I find quite clunky. This shrinks it way down, and adds a few great features, like a quick double click to launch/open the file you just downloaded.
• Install Extension File Title
  A quick tweak to have the default filename of saved webpages be the title of the page.
• Install Extension FireBug
  A truly amazing extesion for client-side web development. Indispensible
• Install Extension Greasemonkey
  Allows you to modify web pages on the fly, programmatically. For the advanced user, but can be very useful.
• Install Extension Karma Blocker
  An ad and annoyance blocker modeled after spam blocker tools. For advanced users.
• Install Extension LastPass
  Save all your passwords and sync them across devices. Different passwords on every site, for security, and you don't have to remember them.
• Install Extension Open In Browser
  When the web site forces you to download a file, this will let you open it right in the browser, without saving it to a file first. Big time saver!
• Install Extension Set As Bookmarks Toolbar Folder
  I use Firefox Sync, so my bookmarks are identical everywhere. I use this to keep a "Personal" and "Work" folder, and set them separately as the bookmarks toolbar in different places.
• Install Extension Resurrect
  A big news site ruined the server? Can't get to the page? Resurrect it!
• Install Extension RSS Icon In Awesombar
  Like the title says (with incorrect spelling): Put the RSS icon back into the awesomebar. Very rarely useful, but very nice when it is.
• Install Extension Uppity
  Navigate up one level (directory). It will remove an in-page anchor, the querystring, the file, and the last directory in that order, whichever is first found.
• Install Extension Web Developer
  A plethora of simply amazing tools for anyone who does web development work.
